Urban Wildlife Management, Inc. has teamed up with Peninsula Community Services, Inc., sponsor of www.hoarders.org, to offer its help to Bay Area residents whose property shows the consequences of extreme hoarding or cluttering. UWM can be hired by individuals with the problem of severe hoarding or cluttering issues. Sometimes property managers, public and private conservators, realtors, code enforcement officers, social workers or others hire UWM for the cleanup services. Our cleanup crews can prepare these distressed properties to promote a safe living environment either for the current resident or for eventual sale to a new owner. House interiors can be washed, sanitized and deodorized with needed repairs performed to remedy any public health or building code violations or to promote the safety of the individual and community. Accumulated trash and yard cuttings and other unwanted items are disposed of appropriately. Attention is paid to removing any pest animals and preventing them from re-entering the home. The work can be done slowly on a scheduled basis with the property owner or, when cost is a major concern, it can be done more rapidly when the home is not occupied. Personalized service by skilled professional staff is available to assess safety issues, provide assessment for the cost of cleanup, to do repairs, and make recommendations for disposal of accumulated items. Urban Wildlife Management Inc. is a state-licensed contractor, bonded and insured who has had experience cleaning these kind of homes since 1978. (Local references available upon request).
